Udinese Football Club, commonly referred to as Udinese, is an Italian football club based in Udine, Friuli-Venezia Giulia, that currently plays in Serie A, the top flight of Italian football. Founded in 1896, Udinese is the second oldest club in Italy, and is one of the most successful clubs in the country, having won the Serie A title in 2005–06, and finishing as runner-up in the following season. Udinese has also won the Coppa Italia twice, in 1985–86 and in 1990–91, as well as the Supercoppa Italiana in the same year. The club has also competed in European competitions, and has achieved moderate success in the UEFA Cup, reaching the quarter-finals in the 2003–04 season. Werder Bremen FC is a German professional football club based in Bremen, Germany. The club was founded in 1899 and has been playing in the Bundesliga since 1963. The club is the most successful club in German football, having won the most national titles and the most cup competitions. They have also won the European Cup Winners' Cup, the UEFA Cup, and the DFB-Pokal.
