Udinese Football Club, commonly referred to as Udinese, is an Italian football club based in Udine, Friuli-Venezia Giulia, that currently plays in Serie A, the top flight of Italian football. Founded in 1896, Udinese is the second oldest club in Italy, and is one of the most successful clubs in the country, having won the Serie A title in 2005–06, and finishing as runner-up in the following season. Udinese has also won the Coppa Italia twice, in 1985–86 and in 1990–91, as well as the Supercoppa Italiana in the same year. The club has also competed in European competitions, and has achieved moderate success in the UEFA Cup, reaching the quarter-finals in the 2003–04 season. Bayer Leverkusen FC is a German professional football club based in Leverkusen, North Rhine-Westphalia. It was founded in 1904 and plays in the Bundesliga, the top tier of German football. The club plays its home matches at BayArena, which has a capacity of 30,210. Leverkusen have won one DFB-Pokal and one UEFA Cup. They have also been runners-up in the Bundesliga and the DFB-Pokal three times each.
