Sporting's most famous players include Luis Figo, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Nani. Halmstads BK FC is a Swedish football club based in Halmstad. The club was founded in 1915 and currently plays in the Superettan, the second tier of Swedish football. Halmstad BK have won the Allsvenskan, the top tier of Swedish football, twice in their history, in 1976 and 1979. The club also won the Svenska Cupen, the main domestic cup competition, in 1971 and 1997.
