Slask Wroclaw FC is a Polish football club based in the city of Wroclaw. The club was founded in 1912 and currently play in the Ekstraklasa, the top tier of Polish football. Slask have won the Polish championship three times and have also won the Polish Cup six times. The club's greatest successes came during the late 1980s and early 1990s when they won three consecutive league titles. Slask also participated in the UEFA Cup in 1991 and 1994, making it to the quarterfinals in the latter year. The club has also been successful in recent years, finishing in the top half of the table in almost every season since 2011. Hannover 96 FC is a German professional football club based in Hanover, Lower Saxony. The club was founded in 1896 and currently plays in the Bundesliga, the top tier of the German football league system. The club's official colours are black, white and green and their home stadium is the HDI-Arena in Hanover. Hannover 96 have won the German championship once, in 1938, and the German Cup once, in 1992. The club has also reached the semi-finals of the UEFA Cup once and the final of the DFB-Pokal once.
