Sheffield Wednesday Football Club is an English professional football club based in Sheffield, South Yorkshire. The club competes in the EFL Championship, the second tier of English football. The club was founded in 1867 as an offshoot of The Wednesday Cricket Club and play their home matches at Hillsborough Stadium. The club has won four League titles, three FA Cups, one League Cup, and one FA Charity Shield.
Coventry City Football Club is an English professional football club based in Coventry, West Midlands. The club competes in League One, the third tier of the English football league system. Founded in 1883 as Singers F.C., the club adopted its current name in 1898 and is one of only five professional clubs to have ever won the FA Cup, in 1987. They also reached two consecutive FA Cup finals, losing to Tottenham Hotspur in the 1981 final and defeating Tottenham Hotspur 3–2 in the 1987 final.
