They have won the La Liga title twice, in 1981 and 1982, and the Copa del Rey twice, in 1909 and 1987. The club also has a long-standing rivalry with Athletic Bilbao, with whom they contest the Basque derby. PSV Eindhoven FC is a professional football club based in Eindhoven, Netherlands. The club competes in the Eredivisie, the top tier of Dutch football, and is one of the most successful clubs in the country, having won the league 24 times, the KNVB Cup nine times and the Johan Cruyff Shield seven times. The club is also the most successful team in the history of the UEFA Cup/Europa League, having won the trophy twice. It is one of only three teams to have won all three major Dutch honours, alongside Ajax and Feyenoord.
