The club currently plays in the Segunda División, the second tier of Spanish football, and was most recently promoted from the third division in 2019. They have won the Copa del Rey twice, in 1964 and 2004, and the Segunda División four times. The club was founded in 1932 and has played at their current home ground, La Romareda, since 1957.
