Rayo Vallecano Football Club, also known as Rayo Vallecano or simply Rayo, is a Spanish football team based in Vallecas, in the neighbourhood of Madrid. The club was founded in 1924 and currently plays in La Liga, the top tier of Spanish football. Rayo Vallecano is known for its strong local identity and passionate supporters. The team has won the Segunda División on two occasions and reached the quarter-finals of the Copa del Rey three times. Real Sociedad Football Club is a professional football club based in San Sebastián, Basque Country, Spain. The club was founded in 1909 and currently competes in La Liga, the top division of Spanish football. They have won the La Liga title twice, in 1981 and 1982, and the Copa del Rey twice, in 1909 and 1987. The club also has a long-standing rivalry with Athletic Bilbao, with whom they contest the Basque derby.
