Founded in 1863, it is the oldest football league club in the world, and the first ever to become professional. The club's home ground is Deepdale, a 33,000 capacity all-seater stadium. Nicknamed "The Lilywhites" due to the traditional white shirts worn by the team, Preston have won the League title twice, the FA Cup once and the FA Community Shield once.
