The Meralco Bolts is a professional basketball team in the Philippines that is a member of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). Owned by the Manila Electric Company (Meralco), the Bolts have been competing in the PBA since 2010. Known for their strong roster and competitive play, the Bolts have consistently been a contender in the league, with several playoff appearances and a finals appearance in 2016.
The Magnolia Hotshots Basketball Team is a professional basketball team from the Philippines, based in Manila. The team is a part of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) and was established as an expansion club in 2014. The Magnolia Hotshots were formerly known as the San Mig Coffee Mixers from 1988 to 2014. The Hotshots are owned by the San Miguel Corporation, the same company that owns the San Miguel Beermen. The team is coached by Chito Victolero and is captained by Mark Barroca. The team plays their home games at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
