Slask Wroclaw FC is a Polish football club based in the city of Wroclaw. The club was founded in 1912 and currently play in the Ekstraklasa, the top tier of Polish football. Slask have won the Polish championship three times and have also won the Polish Cup six times. The club's greatest successes came during the late 1980s and early 1990s when they won three consecutive league titles. Slask also participated in the UEFA Cup in 1991 and 1994, making it to the quarterfinals in the latter year. The club has also been successful in recent years, finishing in the top half of the table in almost every season since 2011.
