West Ham United FC is an English professional football club based in Stratford, East London. Founded in 1895, they are based in the London Stadium and play in the Premier League. The club has won the FA Cup three times, the UEFA Intertoto Cup twice, and the League Cup once. West Ham United are also known for their passionate, loyal supporters, which have earned them the nickname "The Irons" or "The Hammers". The club's traditional kit colors are claret and blue. Their crest features the crossed hammers of the coat of arms of the London Borough of Newham, where the club is based.
