The club competes in the Premier League, England's top division of football, and plays its home matches at the King Power Stadium. The club was founded in 1884 as Leicester Fosse F.C., and was elected to the Football League in 1894. The club's nickname is "The Foxes", and their traditional home colours are royal blue shirts, white shorts, and white socks. The club has won the League Cup three times, in 1964, 1997, and 2000, and has also been runners-up in the FA Cup four times.
