West Bromwich Albion Football Club is an English professional football club based in West Bromwich, West Midlands. The club competes in the Championship, the second tier of English football. Nicknamed The Baggies, the club was founded in 1878 and has played at its home ground, The Hawthorns, since 1900. West Bromwich Albion have won the FA Cup five times, most recently in 1968, and have been runners-up twice. The club have also won the Football League Cup once and been runners-up twice.
