Helmond Sport Football Club is a professional football club based in Helmond, Netherlands. Founded in 1967, the club currently plays in the Dutch Eerste Divisie, the second tier of Dutch football. They play their home matches at De Braak, a stadium with a capacity of 6,000. Helmond Sport's main rivals are TOP Oss, another Eerste Divisie club based in the province of North Brabant. The clubs have a long-standing rivalry and their matches are known as the Brabant Derby. Helmond Sport has been known for their youth system and have produced some of the biggest names in Dutch football, including Arjen Robben, Memphis Depay and Nigel de Jong. The club also has close ties with English Premier League club Manchester City, with whom they have had a partnership since 2011. Jong Ajax FC is the reserve team of Ajax Amsterdam, one of the most successful and renowned football clubs in the Netherlands. The team primarily consists of young and talented players from Ajax's youth academy, who are looking to develop and progress towards the first team.
