Hellas Verona Football Club is a professional Italian football club based in Verona, Veneto. The club was founded in 1903 and currently plays in Serie A, the top tier of Italian football. The team plays its home games at the Stadio Marcantonio Bentegodi, which has a capacity of 39,211. Verona have won the Coppa Italia once and the Serie B Championship twice. They have also competed in European competitions, including the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup, the UEFA Cup, and the UEFA Intertoto Cup.
Udinese Football Club, commonly referred to as Udinese, is an Italian football club based in Udine, Friuli-Venezia Giulia, that currently plays in Serie A, the top flight of Italian football. Founded in 1896, Udinese is the second oldest club in Italy, and is one of the most successful clubs in the country, having won the Serie A title in 2005–06, and finishing as runner-up in the following season. Udinese has also won the Coppa Italia twice, in 1985–86 and in 1990–91, as well as the Supercoppa Italiana in the same year. The club has also competed in European competitions, and has achieved moderate success in the UEFA Cup, reaching the quarter-finals in the 2003–04 season.
