Lazio Football Club is an Italian professional football club based in Rome, Lazio. The club plays in Serie A, the top flight of Italian football. Formed in 1900, Lazio is the oldest club in the capital and is one of the most successful clubs in the country, having won the Serie A title twice, the Coppa Italia seven times and the Supercoppa Italiana four times. The club has also won several minor trophies, including two Anglo-Italian Cup and the Mitropa Cup. The club's home stadium is the Stadio Olimpico in the Foro Italico sports complex, where they have played since 1953. The team's traditional kit colour is sky blue shirts and white shorts with white socks. The club's crest incorporates the eagle, which is a reference to the one on the national coat-of-arms, as well as the club's nickname, the Aquile (the Eagles), which was adopted in 1933.
