It is also the only Portuguese club to have won the UEFA Europa League, the UEFA Super Cup, and the Intercontinental Cup, and is the most successful Portuguese club in international competitions. AS Monaco FC is a French football club based in Monaco, a principality located on the French Riviera in Western Europe. Founded in 1924, the club competes in Ligue 1, the top division of French football, and has become one of the most successful and popular clubs in France and Europe. AS Monaco has won seven French league titles and five French cups, as well as European trophies, including the UEFA Champions League in 2004. The club has a long-standing rivalry with its neighbor, Olympique de Marseille, and plays its home matches at the Stade Louis II in Fontvieille, Monaco.
