Crystal Palace Football Club is an English professional football club based in Selhurst, London. Crystal Palace was founded in 1905 at the famous Crystal Palace Exhibition building by the owners of the FA Cup Final stadium which was situated inside its historic grounds. The club were forced to leave the Palace in 1915 due to the outbreak of World War I, but returned to their home ground in 1924. The club has been a member of the top flight of English football since the 1969-70 season, spending four seasons in the Second Division and 27 seasons in the First Division. Crystal Palace have won the FA Cup twice, in 1990 and 2016. West Ham United FC is an English professional football club based in Stratford, East London. Founded in 1895, they are based in the London Stadium and play in the Premier League. The club has won the FA Cup three times, the UEFA Intertoto Cup twice, and the League Cup once. West Ham United are also known for their passionate, loyal supporters, which have earned them the nickname "The Irons" or "The Hammers". The club's traditional kit colors are claret and blue. Their crest features the crossed hammers of the coat of arms of the London Borough of Newham, where the club is based.
