Columbus Crew FC is an American professional soccer club based in Columbus, Ohio. It competes in Major League Soccer (MLS) as a member of the Eastern Conference. The Crew began play in 1996 as one of the ten charter clubs of the league. The team is owned by the Haslam family, along with the Cleveland Browns of the National Football League. The Crew won their first MLS Cup championship in 2008 and also won the 2002 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup and the 2004, 2008, and 2009 Supporters' Shields. The Crew has qualified for the MLS Cup playoffs twelve times in their history, winning the Eastern Conference Championship in 2015 and 2020. The team's head coach is Caleb Porter. The New England Revolution FC is a professional soccer team based in Foxborough, Massachusetts, that competes in Major League Soccer. The team is owned by Robert Kraft and plays their home games at Gillette Stadium. Known for their passionate fan base and competitive spirit, the Revolution have made several playoff appearances and have produced top talent in the league, including current stars like Carles Gil and Gustavo Bou.
