Cardiff City FC is a professional football club based in Cardiff, Wales. The club competes in the English Football League Championship, the second tier of English football, and has played its home matches at Cardiff City Stadium since 2009. The club was founded in 1899 as Riverside A.F.C., and adopted its current name in 1908. It is one of only two Welsh clubs to have played in the Premier League, joining Swansea City in 2011–12, and the only Welsh club to have reached the final of a major European competition, the final of the European Cup Winners' Cup in 1968. West Ham United FC is an English professional football club based in Stratford, East London. Founded in 1895, they are based in the London Stadium and play in the Premier League. The club has won the FA Cup three times, the UEFA Intertoto Cup twice, and the League Cup once. West Ham United are also known for their passionate, loyal supporters, which have earned them the nickname "The Irons" or "The Hammers". The club's traditional kit colors are claret and blue. Their crest features the crossed hammers of the coat of arms of the London Borough of Newham, where the club is based.
