Cardiff City FC is a professional football club based in Cardiff, Wales. The club competes in the English Football League Championship, the second tier of English football, and has played its home matches at Cardiff City Stadium since 2009. The club was founded in 1899 as Riverside A.F.C., and adopted its current name in 1908. It is one of only two Welsh clubs to have played in the Premier League, joining Swansea City in 2011–12, and the only Welsh club to have reached the final of a major European competition, the final of the European Cup Winners' Cup in 1968. Leicester City Football Club (LCFC) is an English professional football club based in Leicester, England. The club competes in the Premier League, England's top division of football, and plays its home matches at the King Power Stadium. The club was founded in 1884 as Leicester Fosse F.C., and was elected to the Football League in 1894. The club's nickname is "The Foxes", and their traditional home colours are royal blue shirts, white shorts, and white socks. The club has won the League Cup three times, in 1964, 1997, and 2000, and has also been runners-up in the FA Cup four times.
