The club has won twelve Ukrainian Premier League titles, five Ukrainian Cups and one Ukrainian Super Cup. Shakhtar has also won the UEFA Cup in 2009 and the UEFA Super Cup in 2008. The club is one of the most successful and popular teams in Ukraine, having a large fanbase both within Ukraine and abroad.
