Bayer Leverkusen FC is a German professional football club based in Leverkusen, North Rhine-Westphalia. It was founded in 1904 and plays in the Bundesliga, the top tier of German football. The club plays its home matches at BayArena, which has a capacity of 30,210. Leverkusen have won one DFB-Pokal and one UEFA Cup. They have also been runners-up in the Bundesliga and the DFB-Pokal three times each.
