AS Roma is an Italian professional football club based in Rome. Founded by a merger in 1927, Roma have participated in the top-tier of Italian football for all of their existence. Roma have won Serie A three times, in 1941–42, 1982–83 and 2000–01, as well as winning nine Coppa Italia titles and two Supercoppa Italiana titles. In European competitions, Roma won the Inter-Cities Fairs Cup in 1960–61 and were runners-up in the 1983–84 European Cup and the 1990–91 UEFA Cup. FC Porto is a professional football club from Portugal which competes in the Primeira Liga, the top division of Portuguese football. It is one of the "Big Three" clubs in Portugal, along with Benfica and Sporting Lisbon, and is the most successful club in Portuguese football, having won a record 74 official titles, including the Primeira Liga 27 times, the Taça de Portugal 28 times, and the UEFA Champions League twice. It is also the only Portuguese club to have won the UEFA Europa League, the UEFA Super Cup, and the Intercontinental Cup, and is the most successful Portuguese club in international competitions.
