AS Roma is an Italian professional football club based in Rome. Founded by a merger in 1927, Roma have participated in the top-tier of Italian football for all of their existence. CFR Cluj FC is a Romanian football club based in Cluj-Napoca. It is one of the most successful teams in Romanian football, having won numerous domestic titles, including the Liga I championship. The team plays its home matches at the Dr. Constantin Rădulescu Stadium and has a strong fan base. CFR Cluj FC has also had success in European competitions, reaching the group stages of the UEFA Champions League on multiple occasions.
