Corinthians FC is one of the most successful clubs in Brazilian soccer, having won the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A eight times, the Copa do Brasil three times, and the Copa Libertadores twice. The club is also known for its passionate fan base and has been nicknamed "Timão" (the Big Team).
